In my experience, until EasyAnatomy, I've yet to see educational software designed for veterinary faculty and students that combines detailed 3D visualizations, trustworthy content and helpful study aids to solve the challenges of teaching and learning anatomy.

As an educator, I need to adapt to the times, and engage my students in ways that suit their learning styles. Not only does EasyAnatomy do this, it provides a way to view and learn anatomy that simply isn't possible anywhere else.

Anatomy has always been a difficult subject to learn and teach. EasyAnatomy provides a novel tool which will allow students to explore and understand anatomy in a three-dimensional manner which has not been possible until now.

Complete Anatomy is a desktop or mobile device application that is an anatomy learning platform. It contains gross 3D anatomy models, microscopic anatomy, an atlas, videos, courses, and interactive radiology images. Please Note: Application must be downloaded and connected to library subscription for use.

Informed by four years of expert research and development, we have crafted our 3D anatomy platform to provide an unprecedented opportunity to study female anatomy in more detail and with more understanding than ever before.

Every aspect of our new female model has been considered, from it is represented in its proportions, skin, skeleton, organs and systems. For instance, more exact and detail reproductive organs and new microanatomy help show more clearly this under studied area of anatomy, with the most advanced 3D female model on the market today.

Build up body system layers, revealing how they interact within our accurate 3D gross anatomy models. Rotate and zoom for greater detail and spatial understanding. Edit models with cutting, growth and annotation. Explore microscopic models, muscle movement and much more.

Complete and easy-to-use virtual guide for learning, understanding, and visualizing the complexities of human anatomy in 3D. Includes information and images for each anatomical system and part, multiple options to interact with the 3D anatomy models (hiding, fading, etc), and much more.

You may like to see the first steps towards what should become a full open source 3D human anatomy atlas; you can now download the .blend files (Blender offers great options to organize and visualize these files) at -anatomy.com/.

The .blend files are indeed meant to be used in Blender. They offer many interesting options (colors, complex organisation, between others that could be useful for anatomy). All versions of Blender are always available and the file that I share is adapted to the latest version. The whole file or parts of it can easily be exported into many other formats from the .blend if needed.

Human Anatomy is a basic element for medical education curriculum. It's part of the basic sciences that every med student should study, such as human physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, histology, pathology, pharmacology and of course anatomy.

In med school I was chasing digital interactive anatomy atlases software since 2001, which was difficult and expensive pursuit back then. Fortunately, nowadays we have dozens for free on our small tiny pocket computers that we call mobile phones.

Probably this is the most downloaded and used anatomy app for Android devices. It contains 3D models for all human organs that classified systemically. It supports a dozen of languages which include English, Spanish, German, Polish, Russian, Chinese and Japanese.

The second app on our list, is similar to the first one with two more advantages which are: Radiology Atlas and Chromebook support. However, we should mention it's not completely free as it requires registration after a trial period (3 days). Registered users gain access to more than 1500 video, anatomy courses by anatomy professors, microscopic anatomy models and real-time simulation.

This is an award-winning human anatomy app for medical students and artists. It has more than 10.000 3D anatomical models with multi-language descriptions in English, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese and simplified Chinese.

An amazing application that combine physiology with anatomy, and no ads as well. It may look like a handbook that compressed as an android app, but we really like it atmedevel.com. It comes with full features and compatible with old Android devices (Not too old though).

The second app in this list that offers both anatomy and physiology together in an organized structured manner. Unlike the previous app, this one comes with extensive study tools with a practice manager and gamified system for students.

Yet another cool app, Visual Anatomy 3D is completely without any annoying ads as it extends its functionality through in-app purchase. It's an interactive visual anatomy app for medical and human biology students.

A lightweight book-alike app for human anatomy, that can work completely offline. It can perform as a guide for medical students but it's not that fancy like other apps in this list. However, We included it here for its value as it's completely free.

Another yet textbook with application presentation that promote friendly user-interface, search, rich topic sets, diagram and realistic images. It's completely free without Ads and in-app purchase. It works well with tablets and mobiles. [download]

A 3D anatomy atlas that is preferred with medical students around the world as it works on almost all current active android phones with low resources and rich features list. Moreover, it's frequently updated and maintained by its authors.

Visible Interactive HumanThe Visible Interactive Human at Ohio University. This page presents interactive 3D visualizations of human anatomical structure. Our team has been visualizing human anatomical structure based on CT scanning since 2006, and some of our work on a dried skull (OUVC 10503) waspublished in 2008. In 2008, we had the opportunity to inject the upper extremity blood vessels of a fresh (unfixed) cadaver of a white male in his 50s named Frank. Additional materials will be added. The project is led by Lawrence Witmer andRyan Ridgely, and Ridgely has done all of the segmentation, 3D visualization, and animation. Movies have been labeled and 3D PDFs have been assembled byRuger Porter, Ashley Morhardt, and Jason Bourke. Details of the specimens, scans, and techniques areon the Methods page. The resources on this site are open-access and freely downloadable. They are intended to serve as STEM educational aids for medical students, K-12, undergraduate students, and students in allied health professions.
