They also have different opinions on the Shinobigami, the god of the ninja, who is said to grant wishes to those who can find him or her.

The Shinobigami: The Mysterious God of the Ninja
The Shinobigami is a mysterious entity that is said to be the origin of all ninjas. Some say he or she is a god, others say a demon, others say a human, others say something else entirely. No one knows for sure what the Shinobigami looks like, where he or she resides, or what he or she wants.
However, there are rumors that the Shinobigami can grant any wish to those who can find him or her. Some ninjas seek the Shinobigami out of curiosity, others out of greed, others out of desperation, others out of devotion. Some clans want to use the Shinobigami for their own purposes, others want to prevent others from doing so, others want to destroy the Shinobigami altogether.
The Rules
Character Creation and Secrets
To create a character in Shinobigami, you need to choose a clan, a name, a gender, an age, and a background. You also need to choose six skills from a list of 36, which represent your abilities as a ninja. Each skill has a rank from 1 to 6, which determines how many dice you roll when you use that skill. You can also choose one special skill that is unique to your clan, which gives you an extra advantage or ability.
After creating your character, the GM will give you a Secret, which is a piece of information or a true goal that only you know. Your Secret may be related to your clan, your past, your personality, your relationships, or your ambitions.
